POLICY EXCLUSIONS
  • Articles other than furniture exceeding 5% of the Sum Insured should be declared separately with value
  • Loss or damage by Burglary/Housebreaking where employee of the insured or member of insureds family is concerned principal or accessory
  • Damage due to cracking scratching of lens glass
  • Loss of or damage by moth vermin or under processing of cleaning repairing etc.
  • Damage due to over running excessing pressure mechanical derangement or over-winding of watches.
  • Theft from car unless it is properly locked.
  • Damages or breakages of glass during removal alterations.
  • Loss/ damage to fragile items due to impact.
  • Loss due to wilful act or negligence due to fault existing at the time of insurance.
  • Manufacturing defect.
  • Cost of transport to the repair shop and back.
  • Loss or damage to external antenna or fittings by theft unless TV is stolen.
  • Loss during installation.
  • Repairing dismantling of TV where manufacturer of supplier is responsible.
  • Accident or loss or damage or liability when cycle is used for hire or reward.
  • War and nuclear perils.
  • Wear and tear gradual deterioration/ flaws.
